Choosing the Right Essentials for 6–18 Months
Between six and eighteen months, your baby may become more mobile and their sleep routines may start to change. Choosing suitable furniture, bedding and everyday essentials can help you prepare for these developments while keeping your nursery practical and organised.
Consider your baby's stage of development, the space available in your home and the products you already have. Check individual product descriptions for dimensions, materials, age suitability and care instructions before ordering.
Cot Beds for Growing Babies
As your baby outgrows their first sleep space, a cot or cot bed can provide a suitable next step. Explore our range of cot beds and bundles to find practical options for your nursery, with selected designs offering conversion features for use as your child grows.
Consider the size of your room, the style of furniture you prefer and whether you would benefit from a bundle that includes additional essentials. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions and choose a mattress that fits your cot or cot bed correctly.
Cot & Cot Bed Mattresses
A correctly fitting mattress is an important part of preparing your baby's sleep space. Our collection includes cot and cot bed mattress options to suit different bed frames, helping you find the right size for your nursery.
Before purchasing, check the dimensions recommended by your cot or cot bed manufacturer and compare them with the mattress specifications. The mattress should fit securely, without gaps around the edges, and provide a firm, flat sleep surface.
Cot Bedding & Fitted Sheets
Refresh your baby's sleep space with practical bedding for cots and cot beds. From fitted cotton sheets to selected organic options and mattress protectors, discover everyday essentials in a choice of designs and colours.
Always check the product measurements to ensure the bedding fits your mattress correctly. For babies under 12 months, follow current safer sleep guidance and keep loose bedding, pillows, toys and other soft items out of the sleep space.
Cosy Blankets for Everyday Comfort
A baby blanket can be a useful addition to your everyday essentials for cuddles, supervised use and outings. Explore our range of blankets in different colours, textures and designs to find an option that complements your nursery.
Check the product's care instructions and use blankets appropriately. Keep loose blankets out of your baby's sleep space and follow current NHS safer sleep guidance.
Nursery Furniture & Room Sets
As your baby grows, you may want to update your nursery to make it more practical for your changing routine. Our collection includes nursery furniture, cot beds and selected room sets to help you create a coordinated and welcoming space.
Before choosing furniture, measure your available space and check the dimensions of each item. Consider the features you'll find most useful as your baby becomes more mobile, and follow all assembly and safety instructions supplied with your products.
Travel Cots & Essentials for Family Outings
Family life doesn't stop at home, and practical travel products can help make outings and visits easier to organise. Explore selected travel cots and other travel essentials to find products that suit your family's routine.
Check the product specifications, folding dimensions and age suitability before purchasing. Always assemble and use travel products according to the manufacturer's instructions, and ensure your baby has a suitable sleep environment wherever you stay.
Supporting Your Baby's Changing Sleep Routine
As babies grow, their sleep patterns and routines can change. A consistent bedtime routine and a familiar sleep environment can help signal when it's time to settle down.
Choose furniture and bedding that suit your baby's stage of development, and follow current safer sleep guidance. If your baby is becoming more mobile, check the limits of their current sleep product and move them to a suitable alternative when required by the manufacturer's instructions.
