Returns and Refunds
At Clair de Lune, we want your shopping experience to be as smooth and straightforward as possible. If something isn’t quite right, you can return your order using the process below.
UK Returns Policy
If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can return your order within 30 days of receiving it for a refund.
Conditions
Items must be:
- Unused and unassembled
- In original packaging
- In a resalable condition
- Accompanied by proof of purchase or order details
- Clair de Lune mattresses cannot be returned unless still in the hygiene bag, please contact our customer service team with images.
- Obaby mattresses cannot be returned if unwrapped/unsealed unless faulty

Stands, High Chairs, and Cot Beds must be unbuilt. Built items will be rejected.
How to Start a Return
You can start your return or refund in either of the following ways:
- Via the “Start a Return / Refund” link in the footer of our website, or
- By logging into your account here:

Once submitted, follow the on-screen instructions to complete your return request.
If approved, you will receive return instructions and a link to our Evri returns portal.
Return Shipping Costs (UK)
Unless your item is faulty or damaged:
- £3.50 per parcel via Evri
- £15.50 per box for large furniture collections
Faulty or damaged items: return shipping is free.
Refunds (UK)
- Items are inspected within approximately 10 working days of receipt
- Approved refunds are processed within 3–5 working days after inspection
- Refunds are issued to your original payment method

Order Cancellation
Orders can be cancelled before dispatch only. Once an order has been processed or shipped, it cannot be cancelled and must be returned instead.

EU & Ireland Customers
If you are ordering from the EU or Ireland, you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods without giving any reason.
EU Withdrawal Period
- You must notify us of your decision to cancel within 14 days of receiving your order
- You must then return the goods within 14 days of notifying us
EU Return Shipping Costs
EU customers are responsible for arranging and paying for return shipping, unless the item is faulty or damaged.
Customs, Duties & Taxes (EU Returns)
Any customs duties, import taxes, or local charges incurred when returning items are the responsibility of the customer. We do not cover these costs.
If any customs or import charges are applied to us upon receipt of a return, these will be deducted from the refund amount to cover costs incurred.
EU Refunds
For EU orders cancelled under your statutory withdrawal right:
- We refund the cost of the products
- We also refund the standard delivery cost paid at checkout
- Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving the returned goods
- Items will be inspected upon receipt before refunds are processed
- Customers are responsible for the goods until they are received by us
If you selected an upgraded delivery service, only the equivalent standard delivery cost will be refunded.
